About the program:
Inspired by life鈥檚 changing seasons and the shifting landscape in our world right now; love, detachment, compartmentalization, war, migration, imagination鈥 A mix of light & heavy subject matter, these songs are not only interesting to sing, play and take in as a listener, but are programmed thoughtfully to travel in an emotional arc; genre, time period, language, key relation, etc. all mixed up. We鈥檙e rolling out both pianos and are collaborating with Professor SeifAllah Salotto-Cristobal of the USM Department of Theatre to light up Corthell in ways we haven鈥檛 seen before. Sung in English & French in聽collaboration with pianists Laura Kargul and Ed Reichert.
Approx. 75 minutes w/ intermission.
Free admission, and donations are welcomed. Proceeds benefit the Osher School of Music Talent Scholarship Fund.”

Seen on stages from The Metropolitan Opera, Opera national de Paris, and Carnegie Hall to Santa Fe Opera, Houston Grand Opera and Atlanta Opera, she鈥檚 established herself as a stylish musician, agile fioriturist and a fearless stage animal. Meg has been praised by Opera News as 鈥渁uthoritative and carefree,鈥 鈥渁 gifted actress with a strong, appealing voice, graced by a rich lower register,鈥 and singing with 鈥渟wagger鈥 and 鈥渧ocal audacity.鈥澛
This season, Meg returns to OperaDelaware & Opera Baltimore to debut as Maddalena in Rigoletto, The Atlanta Opera to debut 鈥渂ucket list鈥 role Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, makes her mainstage debut with Houston Grand Opera as Elsa Schraeder in The Sound of Music, premieres Jake Heggie and Gene Scheer鈥檚 Before It All Goes Dark in her debut with Music of Remembrance, and returns to Santa Fe Opera as Annina in Der Rosenkavalier. She’s heard in concert with Fort Worth Opera, Holy City Arts & Lyric Opera, Pensacola Opera, OperaDelaware鈥檚 Studio Series and in varied settings around the USM Community. Additionally, Meg serves as Executive Director of Creede Musical Arts Collective 501(c)(3) and Alumna Artist-in-Residence this semester with the 杏吧传媒鈥檚 Osher School of Music.
