Peer Career Guides

Peer Career Guides (PCGs) are USM students trained to guide fellow students in specific career-related activities. PCGs support students with resume and cover letter development through 1-on-1 conversations.

The Career Exploration Internship Program is a paid program hosted by the Career & Employment Hub. These internships allow students to directly apply their classroom learning and build on-the-job skills in a professional setting. USM Job Shadow is a one-day program that gives USM students and alumni the opportunity to spend one full day shadowing employers in Maine. This program is a great way for USM students and alumni to form connections with employers and gain exposure to different career possibilities in a variety of industries.
