Mechanical engineers are dynamic problem solvers. They use a wide knowledge base within the areas of thermodynamics, solid mechanics and fluid mechanics to design most of the devices and mechanisms you interact with on a daily basis. Everything from pencil sharpeners to satellites, and automobiles to sports equipment, involve mechanical engineering.

Our programs include a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, a minor in mechanical engineering, as well as bachelor of science in mechanical engineering with a concentration in industrial engineering. Mechanical engineering courses cover solid mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanical and power systems. The program offers a strong footing in electrical-mechanical systems making our graduates valuable cross-discipline engineers ready for the modern workforce. We also offer instruction in engineering tools, the engineering profession, engineering economics, as well as design projects and hands-on laboratories.
