I completed my dissertation in 2013 on Hegel, titled “The Intimate Practice of Self-knowing in Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit.” I work on Hegel, 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy, and applied ethics. I also work in public philosophy and am the founder of localphilosophy.org, a nonprofit public philosophy organization that focuses on applying philosophical insight to local communities.
