Dr. Randall joined the 杏吧传媒 (USM) nursing faculty in 2010. She holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Nursing 鈥 Clinical Nurse Leader track and Post Master鈥檚 Certificate in Nursing Education. Dr. Randall earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in 2015 with a concentration in nursing education – DNP Capstone 鈥A Simulation to Improve the Clinical Instructor鈥檚 Teaching of Ethics to Nursing Students in the Clinical Setting鈥. Her career in academia includes expertise in simulation based education. Dr. Randall is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator through the Society for Simulation and Healthcare. Dr. Randall鈥檚 nursing practice over many years has been in various acute, ambulatory and community settings with specific nursing experience in cardiac, telemetry and emergency care and care transitions. Her current scholarship focuses on teaching practice and in advancing the science of nursing education. Dr. Randall has presented extensively locally and nationally on her nursing education research: Critical Incident Video (CIV) Project.
