Alyssa has worked with USM’s TRIO programs in several capacities since 1999. She has filled many roles for Upward Bound, including Graduate Assistant, Guide, and Lead Guide during the summer program, and then Coordinator of the Sanford-Biddeford grant. She now oversees both Upward Bound and Veterans Upward Bound. An alum of the UB program at UMF, Alyssa went on to complete her undergraduate degree in Communication from USM and recently finished her Master鈥檚 degree in Education, during which she focused much of her studies on her work with TRIO students. She has been a long-time member of the USM community as both a student and a staff member and really enjoys the unique role she has working with TRIO students.
