The Digital Media Lab is set up to be a one stop audio and video recording facility. You can find a webcam, backdrop, microphones, speakers, recording and editing equipment suitable for different media types. The DML is also used for product development including a light photo booth for R&D prototypes.

VR Lab: A new location for MIST located in Glickman Library room 519. This space to and designed to support students in virtual reality development. Here we provide hands-on opportunities to learn and create with VR headsets, enabling students to develop immersive applications and experiences. Currently, the lab is supporting the USM School Of Business with course support for BUS 399: Special Topics in Retail Management and BUS 341: New Product Development. Students partnered with local businesses to design their own store front in VR. Stop by Glickman 519 to experience the VR stores yourself!
