With final exams fast approaching, the staff at the 杏吧传媒鈥檚 Residence Life department is planning a special event to help students study and prepare for those tests: Moonlight Madness!
Moonlight Madness, which happens at the end of every semester, is an opportunity for students to come into the dining hall in the evening for a late-night breakfast to fuel them up for a night of studying. The food is served by faculty and staff, who are there to voice their support and encourage the extra effort it takes to succeed during Final Exam week.
Moonlight Madness this semester will be on Sunday, Dec. 3, from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., in two locations: in the McGoldrick Center on the Portland campus, and in Brooks Dining Hall on the Gorham campus. On the Gorham campus, the Moonlight Madness dinners have become tremendously popular with students. This will the first time for the event in Portland.
鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to see how it goes in the new buildings,鈥 Portland Commons Resident Director Christopher Horack said. 鈥淲hat makes this extra special is that it is members of the faculty and staff who are serving the students. It鈥檚 a fun event and a great time to connect with students outside of the classroom.鈥
