Since the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ started partnering with the New England Ocean Cluster in 2015, University students and faculty have helped get startups off the ground, helped create environmentally conscious products, formed international collaborations, and worked on projects that could have local, national, or world-wide significance.
The year-long centennial celebration will kick off with an online showcase Oct. 16.Â
Students gain valuable experience by helping the New England Ocean Cluster launch new businesses and products with ties to the Blue Economy.
This season, students from 10 schools competed for the top prize of $10,000. In the end, Curtis, Sabirov and Refilla were selected for the final episode and earned the second prize of $7,500.
